The Voyageur Cup and North Star Open is a World Cup-style archery tournament sponsored by the Minnesota Archers Alliance and held annually in August.
Competitors shoot a 72-arrow ranking round on Saturday which will determine the winners of the North Star Open. The Voyageur Cup takes place on Sunday and is a bracket-style elimination round with archers seeded according to their score from the Saturday ranking round.
The 72-arrow round will consist of 12 six-arrow ends. Archers will have four minutes to complete each end. It’s a good idea to bring extra arrows and nocks.
Sunday’s Voyageur Cup head-to-head elimination rounds will consist of five three-arrow ends for each match. Archers will have two minutes to complete each end.
Distances and targets vary according to the competitor’s age and equipment class. Please note that some competition distances have changed for the U13 and U15 age divisions in 2024.
