USA Archery

USA Archery (formerly known as the National Archery Association or NAA) is the governing body for Olympic and international-style target archery in the United States. It is affiliated with Team USA, the national Olympic body, and also with World Archery (formerly known as FITA or the Fédération Internationale de Tir à l'Arc). USA Archery selects the representatives for the Olympic team as well as the archers who compete internationally in the indoor and outdoor archery World Cup events.

Members of the international teams are selected in a series of U.S. Archery Team (USAT) qualifying tournaments such as the Gator Cup and SoCal Shootdown. Athletes earn points according to their performance at the various USAT tournaments. The youth, adult, and para athletes with the most points earn a place on the various teams and earn the right to compete for Team USA at competitions around the world.

The Minnesota Archers Alliance is affiliated with USA Archery and holds several USA Archery sanctioned events throughout the year.
