The shoot will take place at Rapids Archery Club. The address is: 1255 133rd Ave NW, Andover, MN 55304

The MAA/USA Archery State JOAD/18-Meter Indoor Championship is a one-day event on March 17 or 18, 2023. Shooting lines are 5:00 p.m. on the 17th and 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. on the 18th. Equipment inspection begins 30 minutes before competition.

Space in this shoot is limited. Please register in advance online to reserve a spot. No registrations or cancellations will be accepted after March 14, 2023.

This is a Star FITA event. USA Archery members will be eligible to earn national or world records. Participants in the youth divisions for the JOAD State Indoor Championship must be members of a Minnesota JOAD club as well as a USA Archery member to compete for awards in this event. Other youth may participate as guests, but will not be eligible for awards.

Collegiate or adult archers in the State 18-Meter Championship must be USA Archery and MAA members to compete for awards. Current NFAA members may compete for awards by obtaining a free, temporary USA Archery number. Others are welcome to participate as guests, but will not be eligible for awards. To register in the collegiate division, archers must be from an official USA Archery collegiate archery program.

A membership in the MAA is required for any archer’s score to be eligible for a state record.

The USA Archery dress code will be enforced.

• The JOAD competition is limited to U13–U21 competitors, and the 18-meter competition is limited to adult, non-JOAD competitors.
• The maximum arrow diameter allowed for this competition is 9.3 mm (23/64″).
